Nutrition

Using the most modern and economic ingredients our nutritionists formulate rations based on the individual needs and goals of each producer.

Our premixes are manufactured at our HACCP certified plant which contains some of the most advanced mixing equipment in North America.

We are flexible and can manufacture a micro or macro premix based on requirements of the mill you choose to work with.

Nutrition & Feed Consulting

A qualified Poultry Partner’s nutritionist will meet with you the Producer to learn more about their your operation and discuss their your flock’s needs. They will formulate a nutritionally balanced diet in conjunction with the health status of the flock, in an on-farm feed mill or sent to a commercial mill for production. Our team of nutritionists can also assist producers who would like third-party independent testing and interpretation of feed test results to help identify potential causes of flock production concerns.

Mycotoxin testing

NIR Testing

Near infrared Spectroscopy (Feed testing by NIR) & Mycotoxin Rapid Testing

NIR is a tool used to quickly estimate nutrient content of feed and allows us to fine-tune the formulation to ensure optimal performance and economic return. We can also evaluate to determine the presence of specific mycotoxins in feed ingredients or mixed rations. A Poultry Partner’s nutritionist will interpret all results to establish the best next steps.

Feed Separation
& Particle Size Testing

A test that evaluates whether separation of poultry diet components is occurring as the feed moves throughout the feed lines. Particle size testing is done on feed samples collected on farm and reports the percentage of feed particles in each size category. Available for mash, crumble, and pellet diets. This test helps to optimize digestion and feed efficiency.

Feed Mill Consulting

Producers who are considering building an on-farm mill, and need additional information and guidance, will meet with a nutritionist to discuss their current operation, future goals and the practical aspects of building and running an on-farm feed mill. Additionally, we can assist if required in developing standard operational procedures for the mill, ingredient sourcing and pricing, regulatory compliance with Canadian Food Inspection Agency and assistance with mill audits.
